CEO, President & Chairman
Glen Bertini founded Novinium in 2003 and is the original inventor and world’s foremost expert on cable rejuvenation. He has worked passionately for three decades to perfect the technology since developing it at Dow Corning in 1986. He holds more than 30 patents and has published more than 45 articles on cable rejuvenation and related technologies.
Glen was the co-recipient of the prestigious R&D 100 award for cable rejuvenation in 1992 and won a $100,000 Zino Zillionaire Investment Forum award for best investment opportunity in the Pacific Northwest in 2006. In 2010, he was honored as the Puget Sound Engineering Council’s Industry Engineer of the Year and received the Top Innovators award from Seattle Business.
Glen is a senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineering (AlChE), a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a senior member of the Insulated Conductors Committee (ICC), and a licensed professional engineer (Michigan). He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Chief Human Resources Officer
Jan Cannon has extensive experience as a senior HR professional in the biotech, technology, manufacturing, and healthcare industries. Her previous experience includes leadership positions at Discover Books, HipCricket, Cranium, Sur La Table, Cendant, Vulcan Northwest, and Intel.
Jan is passionate about creating vibrant cultures, assessing and aligning talent, and coaching and developing leaders. She holds a B.A. in Communications Theory from Seattle University.
Chief Financial Officer
Jon Engman has more than 20 years of experience leading high-tech companies experiencing rapid growth in revenue and enterprise value. Throughout his career, he has served as an early pioneer in voicemail, Internet software, e-commerce, broadband, and security and has held executive leadership positions at Sesame Communications, Saflink, and multiple companies owned by Paul Allen.
Jon holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Washington.

Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Chris Sams brings more than two decades of sales, marketing, and business development experience to the Novinium team. His background includes working in the energy, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, government, and high-tech industries. Chris previously led the enterprise sales organization across the western U.S. and Canada for Lexmark.
Chris is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Vice President Operations, Eastern
Robert Hughes leads operations for Novinium in the Eastern region and brings more than 20 years of experience in materials management and field operations to the team. He began his career at Novinium in purchasing and moved on to become Materials Manager. In 2008, he moved to oversee field operations for the Southwest region before assuming his current position.
Robert holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A from the University of Washington.
Vice President, Information Technology
With over 18 years of software engineering and IT experience, Peter is widely considered by his peers as an innovative leader of all things technology. Peter has spent the last five years in the utility industry leveraging his expertise in architecting enterprise level, cloud-based, multi-tenancy SaaS applications. His unique ability to build long-term effective solutions from the ground up has culminated in a unique focus on user-driven systems, where the experience is equally important to the function. Peter is constantly looking for new ways to join the worlds of business and technology in meaningful ways that engage end users and businesses alike. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, Seattle.
