Seattle, May 1, 2008 – Novinium, Inc., the global leader in cable life extension technology for the utility market, announced the extension of its 40-year unconditional warranty to all conductor sizes treated with its Cablecure 732 product. Previously, 7-strand cables and certain compact stranded cables were only provided with 20-year warranties, because the volume of fluid, which could be supplied to the cable strands, was less than required. “Since the introduction of Cablecure 732 technology a little over two years ago, Novinium has made two major advances in our unique technology, which now allow all cables to enjoy life extension of 40 years,” commented Glen Bertini, Novinium’s CEO. “40 years is the anticipated life of a modern cable. The combination of the newly introduced N-ter™ Technology to enhance the cable rejuvenation process on 7-strand and compact stranded cables earlier this year and the chemistry improvements in the catalysis, anti-oxidation, and tree-retardant properties of Cablecure 732 fluid have allowed Novinium to now offer 40-year life extension for even the smallest cables.”
